UMBALE WATERFALLS Umbale Waterfalls is a scenic tourist attraction located in Coorg, Karnataka, India. It's situated in Chembu Village, Balambi Post, Madikeri Taluk. The falls are approximately 40 km from Madikeri. To get there from Madikeri, you need to take the Madikeri-Mangalore National Highway to a small town called 'Kallugundi'. From there, ask for Chembu village, which is about 10 km away. Umbale Falls is surrounded by lush green forests in the Western Ghats. The main waterfall is about 110 feet high and is said to be surrounded by five smaller sub-waterfalls. During the monsoon season, the falls overflow, creating a more dramatic sight.
